Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:  I see from looking through the site that Hire Green is a military-base recruiting company.  I'm not a veteran, can I still apply to jobs posted on the site?
A:  Absolutely!  Hire Green focuses on military veterans that are in transition, but we will also work with industry experienced leaders, managers, engineers and technicians.

Q:  It's been a while since I have been on a job interview, does Hire Green assist with preparation?
A:  Once you have been screened and submitted for a position, our recruiting staff will work with you to "polish" up your interview skills.

Q:  I applied for a position on the web site, but no one has responded to my application?
A:  We appreciate your patience, we receive 100's of applications daily and it takes time to screen through the resumes.  Because of this we only contact those that are qualified for the position applied for.  To assist us in helping you, please only apply to positions that you are qualified for.  Each posting will have required elements for the position (i.e. a Mechanical Engineering Degree).

Q:  The position says that it requires a bachelors degree, can I substitute my experience?
A:  Sometimes. If you have several years of industry experience, many employers will consider that as a substitute for the degree.  Our postings will usually indicate if that is the case.  If you believe you are the exception to the rule place the comments in the notes section of your application.

Q:  Are there any costs to use your services as a candidate?
A:  Hire Green is paid by the employer. You should never pay a recruiter for their services.  There are a lot of recruiting companies out there, make them (us) work to earn the fee.

Q:  I am working with other recruiting companies, will that affect how I am treated by Hire Green?
A:  No.  This is your future career you're talking about, use all of the resources at your disposal.  All we ask is that you be honest with us about working with other recruiters and that you don't disclose the companies that you are interviewing with through Hire Green (in fact we recommend Orion International and Bradley Morris as other sources--they utilize a conference method which we do not).
