Hire Green is the vision of Steve Hilgemann, our CEO and Managing Partner. Steve developed Hire Green in 2008 as an SDVOSB to fill a vacuum in the service disabled business sector for contract and direct hire placement with a concentration on transitioning military personnel and veterans. What he intended to be a small business with its heart in the right place has turned into a model with true potential. Since its creation Hire Green has received certifications, implemented innovative internal systems and capabilities and developed a robust target market. We are in the right place at the right time with the right skills and core competencies to capitalize on our features and competitive advantage.
We stand at the line of demarcation toward a future as a contracting team alliance partner that provides contracting-personnel services, solutions and management for all member requirements. Hire Green can assist in sustainability of contracts struggling to perform due to lack of personnel. We also provide a resource for other small businesses wishing to get into the Federal/Civil contracting market and are reluctant to do so because of insufficient bench strength or technical expertise. Hire Green has the capacity to additionally provide select regular hire personnel and consulting services as needed. Our uniquely qualified candidate pool of contractors are some of the most sought after talent in today's growth industries.
Hire Green has arrived at that point where mission meets structure and internal capacity. We are ready to launch our own foray into the DoD service market and seek partners to join with us in order to win and secure contracts. Naturally, first and foremost we wish to become protégé to a larger firm with the experience and platforms to bring us up to speed in procurement, acquisition and performance. Our natural access point is the small and disadvantaged contract index, so we are interested in partnering opportunities in that select market that will build success and provide mutual benefit to all teaming alliance partners. Hire Green is appropriately positioned to provide engineering, information technology performance and facilities/site management services through our contractors to the Defense & Space, Energy and Construction business sectors. We also wish to help other small or disadvantaged businesses find their performance niche in this service market.
Where possible we will team with those who, with our help can rise to the occasion. As well, we will consult with those companies who need some guidance to develop their business model, marketing and capabilities with a vision toward eventual contract fulfillment. Hire Green is pleased to assist with Veterans' Advocacy Programs and help companies comply with Public Law 106-50 requirements for diversity and small business allocation.
